We’ve been hiding out for a quiet week in our hometown while our floors get finished up at our home in Tennessee. It’s been a much-needed escape and we’ve spent most of our days catching up on work while our moms watched the girls. We got to take in what feels like the first autumn weather here and take some long walks. It’s really beautiful.
I’m anxious to get home now and finally start decorating our home for fall (I was trying to wait until after the floors were done because it’s so dusty). We’ll be staying home until the holidays and I’m excited to use this season to finish settling into our new home and finish unpacking every single box.
I’ve been on a Montessori toy kick, and I ordered this shelf and I’ve been planning to rotate our toys that are displayed there pretty often. How cute is this wood bat toy? I love these learning trees. And I think we’re going to paint dala horses for a craft time coming soon.
