Last weekend we took a trip to Bowling Green, Kentucky (only about an hour from our home) to visit friends and meet up at Jackson’s Orchard. I was so excited because we got to check off not one, not two, but three items from our autumn bucket list (pumpkin patch, apple orchard AND visit a farm).
100% pure nostalgia!!!!!
This orchard was incredible. It had so many magical experiences for littles- like Nova holding her first bunny!
Alpacas are one of my favorite animals and they were even prettier in person. And they were SO sweet!
Nova’s first pony ride was anti-climactic. We went on Sunday evening and I think the pony (named Penelope) was exhausted from a long weekend because she wouldn’t move almost at all. Nova still thought it was “crazy” though. So I guess it was a good speed for a first pony ride.
We had so much fun picking apples. It was towards the end of the season, but Nova still had so much fun running around trying to pick up rotten apples off the ground- haha. The trees still had quite a few, actually. We’re going to bake a pie!
The treats were amazing. We got an apple cider float and it was the greatest.
Nova’s little friend Finley is so sweet to her. We always take so many photos of them together because they’re just too cute.
Having so much fun checking things off our bucket list! We have checked off about half the list already and the weather hasn’t even cooled off yet. I’m very excited for that to happen- hopefully this week! xx
