We’ve got big dreams for our backyard this summer. It’s exciting, but also a little intimidating. I’m hoping a green thumb is something you can develop, not something you have to be born with… ha!
We’re also doing a little painting. Orange is the statement color we chose for our outdoor space. This little shed just got a fresh coat of paint (needs one more) and I’m obsessed with how much personality it adds to our yard!
We’re also having some work done on our porch, this reclaimed wood is such a pretty detail. We’re working on a small container garden and a twinkle light set up for dinner parties on the porch. SO EXCITED.
My grandmother lent me a bunch of GIANT gardening books. Talk about scary. Luckily, she’s willing to give me a lot of advice about what to buy and which projects are realistic for us to take on as newbies. We have a lot to do, but we’re SO excited to enjoy our first summer in this space. 😀
