We had a magical holiday season with Nova and here are a few photos to remember it by!
Started using my dslr again on Christmas morning and I can’t find a flash card reader to save my life- ugh the irony.
Nova’s big gift was this play kitchen (it will be a DIY on A Beautiful Mess soon). I was nervous it would be annoying in the kitchen with all the little pieces, but I have been finding it so therapeutic to tidy it up- haha. I’d way rather clean this thing than our real kitchen.
Nova’s elf “Candy” ruled our world for the past month. Parents are not joking when they say the elf is “a lot of work” haha. And when you forget to move it- HELL TO PAY.
I love it though!
Just this morning Jeremy was flipping through our instant photos and he said, “Don’t you think these are the best photos we have now” and my answer was an immediate, “Yes!”.
Sometimes those perfect Instagrams are too perfect, you know? And it’s nice to remember our life through Nova’s perspective- unfiltered. It’s a treasure.
(Santa brought us an Instax Square and it’s awesome!)
Here are a few more (taken with the Instax Mini)
My favorite photo of this season was this one, taken by my brother of our two girls hugging on Christmas morning.
All around this definitely felt like Nova’s first “real” Christmas because she was really taking it all in this year.
Hope you had a beautiful season as well! We’re so excited to begin 2019. Who knows- this may have been our last Christmas as a family of three (but also maybe not… haha). Either way, we’re soaking it in and grateful beyond words for each day together.
