I have several collections I’m passionate about and handmade mugs ranks very high on the list. My collection is a mix. I have several mugs my kids and our nieces have painted, some mugs from when I took a pottery class with my mom and sister years back and some I’ve received as gifts. And then a lot of these mugs are new (from the past year) because one of my ways to cope with 2020 has been shopping- and supporting small shops specifically. There are so many amazing potters I now stalk religiously. Ceramics spark so much joy for me!
Here are a few of my favorite shops:
–Mud Witch
(currently she has some stuff available through West Elm as well- mug, mug, mug, vessel, vase)
–The Coy Collection
–Gabrielle Silverlight
–Katie M Mudd
–Studio Arhoj
–Sugarhouse Ceramic Co.
–Paper and Clay
–Christina Kosinski
–Heidi Kenney
Pro tip: For basically all these shops, make sure you are on their email list because things sell out at lightning speeds.
Here’s links to the appliances:
–Pink pour over kettle
–Smeg coffee maker
–Smeg grinder
–Wood tray
-Also if you don’t do pour overs only tea, smeg makes a pink kettle.
With the holidays coming up I want to encourage everyone to shop small as much as you can. Supporting small businesses during this difficult year is a ray of hope. Sending love to everyone. XX
