Today we celebrate one year with Nova, the best year of our lives.
The video below shows our first year in one second each day. I can’t watch it without crying. For our family day today we plan to spoil Nova with some of her favorite things and watch her adoption video together (which I DEFINITELY cannot watch without crying).

Before we traveled to China I reached out to my friend Elise for advice on documenting Nova’s first year (and childhood in general!) and she told me the best thing she did was 1 second everyday, which I am so so happy she recommended. It’s mind blowing to watch Nova grow up so much in this video.
