We love love love books and since our list is constantly changing I figured I’d start sharing what books our girls are loving each season. For this first one I’ll consider it a catch-up post so there will be more.
Currently we’re reading toddler board books to Goldie (Nova helps) and Nova has her own big-girl-books for bedtime as well. So I will share some from each category.
Little People Big Dreams series. There are SO many good ones. You can see above we have David Bowie and Dolly Parton. For the girls’ Easter baskets I also got them Jane Goodall and Georgia O’Keeffe.
Hug Machine. This book!!!! It is so sweet and definitely one of our most frequently requested bedtime stories for Nova.
In My Heart. Another favorite. This is a beautiful book about feelings.
The Best Nest. This book was one of Jeremy’s childhood favorites and now it’s one of Nova’s.
Press Here. VERY popular in our home.
Gaston + Antoinette. I bought these books while we were waiting to adopt because they are beautiful- but they are also such lovely stories and very fun for little kids.
Captain Freddy Counts Down To School. This was just a random book we checked out from the library and Nova was so sad when we had to return it that she put it on her list for Santa. It’s a really sweet book and great for a child who is starting school soon.
Llama Llama series. We have basically all of these and Nova loves them. My personal favorite is this one– so sweet.
The Wonderful Things You Will Be. If I ever get to pick, I always pick this one.
Board books for toddlers: We love Yum Yucky Yuck, What Does Baby Want and Counting Kisses.
