This is the only pretty photo I could have possibly taken in my home today. We’re in destruction mode. I’m finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel on a lot of these rooms. Only 4 months in, I guess that’s not too bad. Eh- it’s relative. This week we’re getting new light fixtures in most rooms, a tile backsplash, a new door (see below- haha!) and new hardwoods in a hallway. Not to mention the insane makeover we are doing in the studio- but I’ll save that for another day.

This is the hallway upstairs. It was the only surface up there that didn’t have the original hardwood when we pulled carpet the up. The new floor will be matched to the old floor. I have been looking forward to this SO much.
Here’s a door being ripped out from the kitchen. It was previously glued shut and used as a “window”. C-ya!
Here’s a new chair waiting to be hung. I have always wanted a hanging chair. Excited!
I guess that’s enough crazy for one day. I’m so happy we’re plowing through the never ending list!
