Jeremy and I recently started a new tradition at our house! Each time a friend/couple comes over for dinner we make them a cocktail inspired by them. It’s named after them too! This is the second one we’ve made and we decided to start documenting them here, just for fun.
Behold! The Honey Tree Cocktail. Named after our friend Jacob + Becky (aka The Honey Trees). This cocktail was easy because Jacob and Becky were our house guests for a bit so I had time to learn about their taste in cocktails. ๐
Needed: Honey, Honey Whiskey, Ginger Ale and Rosemary for a garnish.
Drizzle the inside of the glass with honey.
Add 1-2 shots of whiskey, depending on your glass size and desired booziness.
Top off with gingerale and garnish with a sprig of rosemary. Done!
Hooray! We love traditions and this is going to be so much fun! We’ve already been scheming about namesake cocktails (and mocktails) for more of our pals. I’m pretty excited about the challenge of making something custom for each of our guests. Now, everybody… come visit! ๐
