Yellow Paint + Other Things.

Here’s what I’ve been up to this week: Turning chairs yellow with lots of coats of shiny, bright paint. I have to say, painting things with bright paint is one of the most gratifying tasks ever.

Spending lots of time with Mallory. She’s in town working on projects with me and so it’s chatty heaven 24/7. Did you know we are REALLY chatty? just ask emma… and everyone. We can’t shut up. I love her so much. Kinda wish we could keep her.

Baking pumpkin seeds all day long (just a little butter + lawry’s seasoned salt). I love any food that falls into the category of “once a year”. More special… know what I mean?

This week is a blur.

A Very Grumpy Halloween.

My poor dogs just don’t get too excited about Halloween. To them it’s just another day to get dressed up in clothing that they don’t want to wear and take photos…

Suki was so upset about her skeleton t-shirt that she refused to walk or even open her eyes.

That’s a little better. I took their costumes off right after these photos… but we’ll have to try again later because our nieces and nephews love it when the dogs are dressed up! We’ll try their pumpkin shirts next. Haha… my poor, tortured puppies.

Just wanted to share a few recent photos. My husband had a birthday this past week and I had so much fun spoiling him. We are making a lot more progress on our new home. We even had our first dinner guests over the weekend. I’ll share progress photos soon!
