Whew… these past few weeks have been a roller coaster with some pretty severe low points but then a total high of watching our house be painted this past week. Not even three months in and we are feeling really at home. I know a lot of people thing it’s cheesy that we painted our house basically the same as our old house (bloggers are supposed to do something different each time etc…), but our five year old hates change and she asked for the pink door. It made my heart so happy when she asked for the pink door again, I could never say no to her. Maybe we will change it up in a few years. For now, I love that she wanted to keep the tradition. It breaks my heart it’s so cute.
Anyway! Here are a few Etsy links.
–Hocus Pocus. I am so so excited to do a whole wall of prints by Prints + Giggles. She’s so talented.
–Black-owned Etsy shops… I’ve found so much good stuff from this list. These are such a special gift idea.
–My favorite masks (I also have this one) it’s so important to find a mask that feels comfortable to you.
-I am completely obsessed with Montessori toys (like this and this and this) and have been collecting them for years. We just set up a Montessori shelf in our living room- it’s low so our kids can reach everything. You’re supposed to rotate the toys often. I am really into it because they immediately took to it. I’ll share more pics as soon as we’ve done a couple of toy rotations. Nurturing independent play is definitely one of our top parenting goals this year.
-95% of my “style” this year is novelty sweaters- here is my latest Etsy purchase.
We’re watching the original “Halloween” and Jamie Lee Curtis is so adorable. It’s just beginning to get chilly in Nashville, I’m excited to take walks this weekend. xx
