We’re enjoying a cozy, rainy weekend at home including cartoons, donuts and hot tub time.
– I recently purchased three dresses from Target. They’re all SO cute and super affordable- here’s one, two and three!
-I found a DEAL on gold flatware and it’s really pretty. I am planning to use it for special occasions and hand wash so I know it will last too (my search for gold flatware that can be dish washed indefinitely ended in my realizing it should really just be hand washed).
-Currently we’re setting up our outdoor space for spring/summer and I am SO excited to make memories out there!
-I bought a pink hat last March, or maybe April, at the beginning of our quarantine life and I still haven’t worn it out in the world. Fingers crossed this will be the year. 😀
Other than that I’ve been watching WandaVision, getting ready for Easter and making plans for our new pizza oven which we’re hoping to try out this week.
We’ve been reflecting on the one year mark of the beginning. It feels heavy and exhausting but also hopeful and even nostalgic at times. Currently I think I’m unraveling some suppressed feelings I didn’t know I had, but aren’t we all? And it’s not over yet. I think I’m stuck in permanent survival mode and I’m just trying to imagine a different future ahead of us. I’m really looking forward to re-introducing our children to pretty much everything. That’s very exciting!
